West Edmonton Mall [WEM] is excited to partner with Local Waste to provide exclusive waste and recycling services for the centre, in addition to the introduction of the WEM x Local Waste Mayor of the Month charitable initiative.
The initiative will allow WEM and Local Waste to work with local children’s charities to nominate a child for a one of a kind experience at WEM and the title of the ‘Mayor of the Month’.
Once nominated, WEM will craft an experience that combines the unparalleled mix of retail, attractions, and accommodation available at the centre that is tailored specifically to the child’s interests, including a host of mayoral perks for the child to enjoy.
Both WEM and Local Waste place a strong emphasis on support of the local economy and broader community and are thrilled to utilize their partnership to recognize deserving children and their families with an experience they’ll never forget.
